How do I water my bromeliads?

madabouteu(8A - central Alabama)January 1, 2013

The tank bromeliads - those that hold water in the center of the leaf rosette - should have the tank flushed out about once a week. In all cases, the soil should be kept moist but not soggy. Rainwater is best, soft water is next best but artificially softened water is not really soft as far as plants are concerned!
