A Canna Garden Cannas (Cannaceae) are showy, tropical-looking plants with banana-like leaves that can be green, burgundy, and even variegated. The flowers come in many colors and flowering can continue until frost. Cannas range in size from 2 feet to over 15 ft, depending on the variety and the care given to them.
