Why are my cannas not blooming?

GardenGhostJanuary 1, 2013

Cannas prefer lots of sun and water. If your cannas arent blooming, they may need more sun and water.

Or they may be overcrowded, in which case dividing and separating them may be your answer.

Or it may be that your soil needs to be rejuvenated with some fertilizer to replenish nutrients that the cannas need.

Also, cannas do not need to be planted too deeply. If youre not getting blooms, you may have planted them too deeply. Just plant them two or three inches deep.
