What are the Pavement series of roses?

gwtamaraJanuary 1, 2013

A German nursery introduced a series of roses to grow by the highways in Germany and when they were introduced in North America the names had to be changed because of patents laws. As they were designed for roads they called them "Pavement". All of these roses have Rugosa blood in them and although they will only grow to about 2 feet high they will send out side shoots that will make them grow over 6 feet in width. Most are very rugged and hardy for landscaping.
