o What are standards, minis, semi-minis and trailers?

These are different types of African violets. The most common type of African violet is called a standard. It will normally be about 12 inches across, although show plants are often much larger. Minis and semi-minis are the same as standard violets, but they never get as large.

Trailers are African violets with multiple crowns. These are not plants that have produced a lot of suckers. These are a trailing variety that puts out new crowns.

The care of all these violets is pretty much the same as standards. However, minis and semi-minis must be repotted more often.
