Looks like a juniper procumben. If the base pebbles and moss are glued...remove that imediately! That could be a majority of the problem. Box stores are known for that sort of thing. Second...this tree is an outdoor bonsai. (No matter what the tag said) it also goes dormant and needs cooler temps in the winter. I house mine in an un-heated out building during winter. I wish you success...but, that would be the first steps I would do...and hope for the best. If it is showing signs of needles being brittle...stop with the plant food. Until it shows signs of regaining health.

Glass bowl is usually incurved and therefore more of a closed in environment. Not suitable for succulents as they don't need any extra humidity this creates (even if it may not be too much), and also air circulation around the plant. This on top of poor drainage. The rocks at the bottom that are always mentioned to be used in net instruction will not help, just raise perched water level. It will survive for a while especially if you keep watering to next-to-nothing, but it is not suitable container for good health of the succulent. If they are kept as a decorations that will be soon replaced (upon decline or death of the plant), it will serve that purpose... Use the glass bowl for what you bought it for :) and pot succulent in fast draining mix and container with drainage hole - if you want to grow healthy succulents for a long term.

Hey all! If you guys read what I replied to the comments, I placed all my succulents outside cause we had a really hot week then. We had a cold night forecast though of around 28 degrees and I was planning to take them back inside but had an emergency and wasn't able to come home. That following day I checked them out and almost all them them had mushy and soggy leaves. Some branches even started falling down I am so heartbroken. There are some that survived you can tell by the color. My question is this, (picture) some of them turned this color but isn't soft or soggy to the touch. Is this a sign that it's going to survive too? Can anyone share measures to somehow revive them? You will notice he leaves on the left (of this particular jade on the blue pot) are still very green. The ones on the middle are pale or kind of brownish and the branch on the right has bowed down. Will it help to cut branches that seem hopeless?
