 o What are Hybrid Perpetuals?

Although this rose is called Perpetual it really isn't. There is a large summer flush on some and then a smaller flush in autumn. Many only bloom once. At the end of the 19th century they were thousands of varieties but to-day there is only a very few of them left in commerce. The bush is very vigourous and tall and the flowers mainly large and filled with petals.
