o What perennial shade plants have a long blooming period?

Corydalis lutea and Corydalis ochreleuca both bloom from spring into fall. Dicentra eximina also blooms for a long period. The Welsh Poppy, Meconopsis cambrica will rebloom throughout the summer. Some Hostas bloom for several weeks (though some Hosta foliage lovers consider the flowers a distraction), dome Primula (primrose) bloom from March to May. Hellebores can bloom from late winter into spring.
